Rev. James M. DiLuzio CSP

Father James DiLuzio is a Paulist priest (paulist.org) who has served as an associate pastor and campus minister. Currently, he offers parish retreats, lectures and missions, and since 2002, has been offering parishes his dramatic proclamation of the Gospel of Luke entitled Luke Live! (www.LukeLive.com )  Before his ordination in 1993, Fr. DiLuzio earned a B.A in English and Education from Montclair State University, New Jersey, an M.A. in Drama from the University of Southern California, followed by several years working as a teacher, actor and director. As a Paulist, he completed a Masters of Divinity at Catholic University, Washington DC. Fr. DiLuzio’s studies and ministries contribute to the Paulist Fathers' objective to "Give the Word a Voice in the 21st century"– i.e., sharing the Gospel in new, fresh and engaging ways. Prior to his full-time Mission work, Fr. James served as Associate Pastor at Saint Paul the Apostle Church in Los Angeles and as a Campus Minister at St. Lawrence Parish and Newman Center, Minneapolis, MN.



Mrs. Christine Watkins, MTS, LCSW

Mrs. Christine Watkins holds a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley and a Master’s degree in Social Welfare at the University of California at Berkeley’s School of Social Welfare. In 2006, she received her license as a Clinical Social Worker. She is trained in Ignatian spirituality and discernment, with nine years of work experience as a spiritual director, bereavement counselor, inspirational speaker, retreat leader and mission preacher. Her past positions include work with the elderly, the disabled, the homeless, persons with AIDS and war veterans, as well as the positions of resident minister and assistant liturgist for the University of San Francisco, English teacher at a language school in Spain, and professional dancer with the San Francisco Ballet Company. She has been featured on the FOCUS Television Network and is completing a book titled, Would You Believe? Stories of Miraculous Conversion. Mrs. Watkins converted to Catholicism after God saved her life through a miracle of divine intervention. She currently lives in California with her husband and son.
